Omega Machine & Tool Inc. is pleased to announce the immediate availability of a new tool to complement our growing line of tools.
The 5R55N/W/S uses an adapter plate to mount the torque converter to the flex plate. If you're not extremely careful or lucky, you will end up with a vibration at idle, or while driving. Cracked flex plates are also in your future. This tool has one hole in the center for the snout of the converter and two dowel pins on the ends which fit into the adapter. Set the tool into one round hole and one oblong hole in the adapter and then guide it over the snout of the converter, and you're good to go. Tighten down the converter bolts evenly and you're done.>
